Ubuntu Install: Getting Started

After you click on the Install Ubuntu icon on the desktop, you'll see the first of six screens designed to prepare your Ubuntu install. Select the language you want to use during the installation from the list on the left side of the window. This language will also be used as the default language of the final system install. A welcome message along with a link to Release Notes appears in the main window.

Click on the Forward button to continue on to Step 2.
