Resize a Snapshot
Server Training - Logical Volume Management

Resize a Snapshot

If you wanted to resize a snapshot, all you have to do is select the snapshot in the Logical View and then edit the settings and save them. In this example you can see that snap1 has been resized from using 1 extent to now it is 2 extents. You will be able to resize the extents until your space is gone.

You may want to verify a snapshot by running the fsck command to check system integrity. Here is an example of running fsck on a snapshot.

fsck /dev/Vol_Group_Name/snapshot
