Router Configuration Erase and Reload. To save your configuration file that you just created use a command such as copy run start this command manually saves the file from DRAM to NVRAM. It saves the file under the startup-config filename. But what if you want to erase the startup config file, you use the command erase startup -config, then type the command reload to restart the configuration processes.
