Ubuntu Install: Partitioning

After clicking the Forward button on the Keyboard Layout screen it may take a few seconds for the partitioner to startup.

Once the partitioner has started you'll see this screen. The graphic at the top shows the current space left on your computer. You must choose to install Ubuntu on The Entire Disk (recommended) or Specify Partitions Manually (advanced).  Note that if you use the Entire Disk it will wipe out everything on the disk.  It is important that you create a backup!

Click the Forward button to continue to step 5.

It may take a few minutes for new partitions to be created.
