Linux Mint Xfce is a Debian-based rolling release distribution that just dropped another release this morning. It’s build on top of the Debian testing branch and uses the same repos as Linux Mint Debian Edition (LMDE). According to the release announcement, this version comes with several advantages including a performance gain, continuous flow of updates, more mainstream software selection, and it’s easier to maintain for the Linux Mint development team.

One of my machines has Linux Mint GNOME installed and I’ve been tempted to install one of these rolling distros like LMDE or Linux Mint Xfce. What do you think?
