Nagios System and Network Management and Monitoring

Nagios was created by Ethan Galstad and initially released in the spring of 1999. Licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 and available as free software, Nagios is currently the most popular computer and network monitoring software application. Nagios monitors hosts and services alerting administrators when things change.
