nano Append a File |

When you are working with a file there may be a time you want to add text to a file, append it. nano provides an easy option ot accomplish that task.
Open your file and locate the line that is where you want to place the additional text. Then choose ^R and it will ask you what file you want to add. Place the file name in there and hit Enter.
As you can see one line was added as indicated by the comment in the middle of the line at the bottom.
Using this method you can insert large bodies of text into the file you are working on.
