nano Spellcheck |
Linux Commands - Shells |
nano has the ability to spellcheck your document. Open a text file that you want to check.
You will use ^T to turn on the spellcheck feature. Here you can see it begins to Spellcheck and stops when it finds a work that it does not believe is correct. You have two options at this point. If you want to accept the spelling as it is hit Enter and it will continue to the next word. If you want to change the word, edit it and then hit Enter.
