Merging Cells

At times you may want to merge cells. Here is an example of the problem. The first cell has background formatting applied but because it moves into the second cell the color formatting does not carry over.

To merge these cells highlight both and choose Format and then Merge Cells and Define will be available. Click and instantly the format carries over to the next cell.
