Xmind: Install on Ubuntu

Install Xmind by opening the Firefox web browser on your Ubuntu desktop and going to Xmind.net. Select the download option, you may need to register for a free account. Once registered you will be prompted to open or save the .deb file. Choose open. This will bring you to the package installer where you can view a description, details and other useful information. Click on the Install Package button.

After a few moments the necessary files will be downloaded and installed. You'll know Xmind is installed when you see this message.

Now click on Applications --- Office --- Xmind

Now we can see the Xmind splash screen and eventually the Xmind application interface which looks like this by default.
