Lunar Linux includes a package management system which builds package, or module, for the machine it is being installed on. This increases the speed once the Lunar installation is finally finished. Lunar Linux also includes Linux kernel 2.6.20, Xorg, udev, KDE 3.5.6, XFCE , GNOME, OpenOffice.org, The GIMP, XMMS, MPlayer, Thunderbird, Evolution and more.
