Designed for intermediate users who are no afraid of command lines. Based on Slackware, Frugalware does not use the same package management system. Instead it uses Pacman. Frugalware Linux offers GNOME 2.20.0, OpenOffice.org 2.3 with OOXML support and a Mozilla plugin, Gfpm, a graphical package manager. The primary goal of Frugalware is to provide a simple comfort based Linux operating system.
