Slackware 13.0 is out! The worlds longest living Linux distribution and a highly respected Slackware community have released Slackware 13.0. Coming off one of the distros most intense period of development the stable version of Slackware 13.0 is ready for download. Among the major changes to the veteran distro are a reworked collection of X packages, major upgrades to KDE 4.2.4 and Xfce 4.6.1 desktops, a new, better compressing, .txz package format, and much more.
