I ran gOS on a Cloudbook that I purchased from Walmart, one of the early netbooks. It was OK but really it had a lot of fancy features that I did not need, and it was a little slow on the CloudBook. So put the Ubuntu netbook image on it. Ubuntu of course is similar. I did move to fluxbox to make it faster but eventually I found that my biggest problem was the Linux driver for the wireless. It worked but it was way slow. So I am looking at buying a new netbook or trying a different image as Ubuntu was too slow also.
