Translate OIDs for Nagios

OIDs or Object Identifiers, are used to determine items that you will want to monitor with SNMP.  These are tough to understand but there are some excellent online tools for helping you.  A great tool for translating OIDs is an online resource at:       http://jaguar.ir.miami.edu/~marcus/snmptrans.html

Here is an example of a string to search for:

NOTIFICATION-LOG-MIB::nlmConfigGlobalEntryLimit.0 = Gauge32: 1000
When you go to the site you have three options for translation as you can see.
