Step #3: Select Options
The options allow you to use basic features that you may want to use in the slide show. If you were talking and anticipating questions from viewers you may want a manual slide transition as times would vary. How you want to use the mouse is the next 2 options, either not viewable or to look like a pen. The advantage of using it as a pen is that the pen can be used to actually write on the slides for effect and viewer interest. The Navigator will show a list of slides and viewers will then know where they are in the presentation. If you want to use additional animations you must click animations allowed. If you will change slides manually choose the option to change slides by clicking on the background. The Tasks list on the right hand side of your slide will provide the Slide Transition options. You may adjust speed and add sound as well. Again you may advance a slide manually with a mouse click or use an automated timing. If you apply to all slides you will have the same transition for each slide in the show.
