Setting The Time

Even though you set the time when you booted your computer from the PCLinuxOS CD, you'll need to do it again after you've completed the installation. That's because the installed version of PCLinuxOS defaults to using the U.S. Central Standard time zone.

Start by clicking on the Configure your Computer icon at the bottom of the desktop.

You'll need to enter the root password.
