The process of burning images to create a boot CD or DVD is a fairly simple process but it is not always evident on how to do this.

Step One: Download an .iso
Images for CD/DVDs are .isos and this is what you need to download. If you download the Fedora DVD it will be labeled as: Fedora-11-i386-DVD.iso. Note the end of the name, it is a .iso. This means you DO NOT want to burn a copy of it, you want to burn it as a image so your system will boot off of it.

Step Two: Open Your Burning Program
There are lots of programs to burn CD/DVDs but the process is similar. If you are burning a DVD you want to pen the program and it gives you options to do theses things:
1. New Audio CD - Nope you do not want this
2. New Data DVD - Nope you do not want this
3. Burn DVD ISO image - Yes this is the one to select.

Place your DVD in the burner and burn your image.

Step Three: Boot to the DVD
You must configure your laptop, desktop or whatever to boot to the DVD. On most laptops you can select F12 and it will provide the option to boot to the DVD. On a desktop you have to enter the BIOS. Now you need to be careful if you enter the BIOS because these are the settings for you motherboard and you can mess stuff up. You can enter the BIOS by clicking Del, or F1 or sometimes F2 on boot up. What you want to do is make your first boot device the CD/DVD so that it will boot to the DVD. When it boots...the program will begin and you can start the install.

Please be careful as you work in the BIOS as it can make problems...back up all important information before entering the BIOS.

@Aguada21 Hi, I talked with you on the Youtube channel. The method described above is easier than messing with the zip file that you have. What Windows software are you using to burn the iso? I recommend @Active Iso Burner. Ask if you have questions.
