I'm brand new to Linux and have never ran Ubuntu. I just started using Fedora 11 and am starting to like this whole Linux thing. My question is, is Ubuntu better for newbies than Fedora? Also where should I buy Fedora? How much is it?

Fedora sometimes features cutting edge applications and unfortunately the line between cutting edge and bleeding edge is a fine one. Ubuntu may also be a better choice because of the amount of the stability, community support, and newbie friendliness. Not That Fedora doesn't offer these things Ubuntu is just huge right now and so are help resources for Ubuntu.

Here's a link to the Fedora desktop course we just released in case you decide to stick it out with Fedora.

Maybe for a nOOB but I use Fedora and I love it! Great Fedora course by the way. you should make the firewall and desktop course into one big monster course.

Way Better! I've tried both and like the new Jaunty Jackalope much better than Fedora 11 Leonidas.
