Change Screen Resolution

You can also change your video resolution. If screen images don't fill up the desktop area as you'd like, just set the resolution lower. If images run over, and you find yourself always having to scroll to the left or right to see the whole image, then just set the resolution higher.

To begin, open the Screen Resolution utility from the System menu.

 

 

The rest is easy. Just click on the drop-down menu to get the list of available screen resolutions. Click on the resolution you want, and then click on the Close button. Confirm your choice when prompted.
