Enabling Mandriva Repositories Tutorial and Video

This short Mandriva tutorial and video explains where to access the Mandriva repositories and how to enable them for the first time on The Mandriva desktop using GNOME as the desktop environment.

From the Mandriva desktop select System --- Administration --- Configure Your Computer

This should bring up the Mandriva Control Center window. Select Software Management on the left side then Configure media sources for install and update option on the right.

You should now see the Configure Media area which has several columns of information about the repositories including Enabled, Updates, Type, and Medium.

You can use the Remove, Edit, Add and Arrow buttons on the right change the Mandriva repositories listed. If you see a blank list of repositories you'll need to click Add.
