Indenting

When you would like to indent, one option you have is the ruler. First you select your paragraph by placing your cursor inside the paragraph that you want to indent. Notice, you do not have to highlight the whole paragraph, just have your cursor in the paragraph. Now, click on the bottom triangle of the ruler and slide it to the position for the indent you would like.

Notice in the image that the triangle in the ruler has been pulled to the ½” mark and the paragraph has moved to that spot. Once the paragraph is in position you may want to indent the first line; move the top triangle to indent the first line.
