Morphing Objects

Morphing is a fun method of creating some unusual shapes and concepts. Open a new Drawing and place two different shapes a distance apart.

The next step is to choose Edit-Select All so that both objects are selected. Then, go to Edit- Cross- fading. When you click this option a window will open.

The increments can be increased or decreased. When you click OK the morphing is completed. Increments is the number of image snapshots there will be between objects.

If your objects are using different colors and you select the Cross-fade attributes, the color morphing will occur as well. Count the increment images which equals 16.

If you do not select the Same orientation the transition will not be smooth as in the example.
