 This course is designed to help you build a network defense system.  The course starts by building an IPCop firewall as an outside defense from the Internet.  The course will then continue as you build a VPN using IPCop.  Once the outside defense is complete you will move to the internal aspect of the network to determine what kind of traffic is occurring on the network and where it is coming from.  You will be able to analyze various kinds of traffic including mail, netbios, ssh, etc.
