I can live with changing the background and theme colors but can't stand the location of the title bar buttons...
What do you think?

Same, but I'll get used it. Might have to move my mouse a few hundred pixels further, but whatevahs. I just hope their ideas for how to use the newly empty top right are good.

I'm sorry to say the new default theme is an abhorrent eyesore.

Most of the changes look fine to me, but I don't like buttons on the left either.

First of all, the buttons on the left would have kept me from using this version. But I found this:
Alt + F2
gconfg-editor
Then navigate to apps > metacity > general
Find button_layout
Right-click and select Edit Key
Paste this in there:
menu:minimize,maximize,close
Click Ok
I found this at:
http://wojox.homelinux.org/?p=65
But,now I don't see these same instructions.
As for the Desktop and themes, I always customize to my taste anyway.
Still setting-up this fresh install, so we'll see how it goes.

the new changes in 10.04 are pretty and refreshing
the button location is also justified because it make it easier to access the top bar and desktop icons(which are generally kept on the right)
i was gettin tired if the ol' orange theme.
after all, the only thing which constant is change.
