Hello maybe you can help. I am running the new Fedora 11 desktop. I love it but really want to display the gDesklets like weather, clock and other stuff on my Fedora desktop.

The gDesklets you mentioned are included in Fedora 11 by default. So what's the problem?

gDesklets are easy to find! Applications --- Accessories --- gDesklets. It is odd they are in accessories...

gDesklets are part of the Fedora desktop course. Here's the link in-case you want to check it out. Page 8 is all about gDesklets. The course has general desktop tutorials and a quiz at the end. Pass the quiz and you'll get rank points.

Sorry for the nOOb question. I guess I didn't look hard enough for the desklets. Thanks for the link too, I like how you can customize each desklet and they all have different options. Any other Linux distros with this type of desktop feature?

@lola nOObs are not just excepted but encouraged to come here so don't worry about it. If you like gDesklets on Fedora 11 you should check out gOS Rocket and some of the other gOS releases they are the king of desktop widgets in my opinion. Here's a link with an article and video on gOs Linux Gadgets 3.0.
