I am trying to set up my wireless and I need to get the IP with DHCP. How?

The Ip Address for an Internet connection will probably be supplied by DHCP from your wireless router or access point. The simplest way to get this going is now to issue this command:

sudo dhclient

This will tell your network card to go looking for a dhcp lease. Does this help? If not refer to the entire Ubuntu wireless article which shows how to set up different types of wireless card in Ubuntu or feel free to continue posting here.

ndiswrapper will allow you to use Windows drivers and install them on your Linux box. I have done that with my Laptop as their were no good Linux drivers for it at the time. However, Linux wireless is getting better all of the time.
