Fedora Lock/Shutdown

Here we will examine how to secure our Fedora system and shut it down properly.

You can lock your screen in Fedora to prevent any unauthorized use. Simply click on System --- Lock Screen

The screen will turn black and can only be unlocked by typing in the user password.

You can choose to Leave Message, Switch User, Cancel, or type the password and select Unlock

To shut the system down correctly just click on System --- Shut Down

Now we can choose whether we want to make our system Hibernate, Restart, Cancel, or Shutdown
