To change or setup your sound on the Fedora desktop click on System --- Preferences --- Hardware --- Sound. Once we've opened the sound preferences window we see the first tab labeled Devices allows us to choose specific devices for sound events, music and movies, and audio conferencing. To the right we see test buttons. At the bottom we can also change default mixer tracks options. The next tab includes system sound options. Select the drop down boxes to change sounds and test the specific sound for each event click on the corresponding Play button. The System Beep tab allows users to turn the system and visual beep on and off. You may also specify what type of visual signal will be performed.
