Mandriva 2008 Spring comes with its own new version of OpenOffice.org and it has all of the improvements you've been expecting. The new version, OpenOffice 2.4, is a combination of fixes, new features and an overall steady improvement with new releases coming a couple times a year. OpenOffice is starting to gain ground on its office software competition and with so much participation and frequent improvements, it seems to be only a matter of time before we can accomplish everything we need in the office from free Open-Source software.
