Inserting a Hyperlink

You can insert Hyperlinks to Internet web pages in your text as a way to enhance your text and provide readers with added access to information they may need. Here is an example with the text; notice the words you want to be Hyperlinked must be highlighted.

Now choose the Hyperlink icon from the Standard Toolbar.

Your text link will be gray but indicates what text is the link. The target frame indicates how the web browser will open. The blank option will open a new browser window; it will open your default browser. Click OK and you have a colored link to your web site.
