Introduction to Draw

OpenOffice Draw is an image editing program that provides an interface to create and edit both vector and raster graphics. The editing features include color, size, rotation, arrangement, layers and formatting as the major features. It allows you to edit fonts and text formats as well as inserting OLE objects and a multitude of graphic formats.

One major change to the Draw program in OpenOffice 2 is the ability to create a custom shape. The other rebuild was done on the Toolbar which gives you more options to commonly used shapes. This will certainly be popular with users to make Draw more compatible with what people want to do.

The new shapes, seen at the bottom of the page not at the side be default.
